Port Adelaide premiership players Peter Burgoyne and Brendon Lade have announced their retirement from AFL football.
Burgoyne and Lade will play their final game for the club on Saturday night at AAMI Stadium against North Melbourne.
The premiership duo are two of just three original Port players, alongside captain Warren Tredrea.
Port Adelaide still holds a mathematical chance of making the finals, but must rely on other results to go their way.
To steal eighth spot Port must beat the Roos by around 100 points and must rely on Hawthorn to defeat Essendon on Saturday.
