THE Perth Football Club will be hosting ‘An Afternoon with Matthew Richardson’ on Friday 25 June at EFTel Oval in Lathlain.
The retired Richmond legend will be the guest speaker at the businessman’s lunch, and will discuss a range of topics, including his career and life after football.
Perth CEO Brian Leys said the club was rapt to secure the services of one of AFL’s favourite sons.
“I’m really looking forward to it, because it will be open forum, so people will get to ask him questions, while also taking the opportunity to network with other businesses throughout the Perth Football Club area,†he said.
Mr Leys said there would also be a chance for Tigers fans to get their hands on some Richardson memorabilia with an auction taking place as well.
The 13-time Richmond leading goal-kicker will also address the players, in the hope of helping the battling Demons produce their first win of the season.
However in a lighter note, Mr Leys said it would be better if he just played the last eight games of the season instead to counter the first eight games this season.
‘An Afternoon with Matthew Richardson’ starts at 12.30pm and tickets are $110 per person or $1000 for a table of 10.
