WAFL Broadcasting has been set for the year with ABC radio and TV heading the radio and television broadcast. 990am is back for another year but not under the Wisdom Sports Media banner. 107.9 FM Radio Fremantle is also calling the footy. 91.3 Sport FM which is now running under a different licence is the new kid on the block…

Perth Football Club this year celebrate their 50th anniversary of being known as the Demons. In 1959 they changed their name from the Perth Redlegs to the Demons. Perth Demons today announced that they have recruited 3 new players: former West Coast Eagle premiership player Steven Armstrong, St Kilda player Matt Ferguson and VFL player Justin McClay. It looks like Coach Jarman will use Armstrong to boost the Demon midfield, while having Ferguson and McClay to play strong flexible positions.

Simon Eastaugh, coach for the Perth Football Club for the past 3 years, will not be seeking an extension of his contract which finishes after this week's match against East Perth. The decision was announced after training last night. Eastaugh is citing family circumstances as the reason for stepping down. No new coach has been brought on as of yet.…
