Ballantyne receives a wing

Fremantle recruit Hayden Ballantyne was honoured last fortnight for his contribution to the Peel Thunder Football Club with the unveiling of the Hayden Ballantyne wing at Rushton Park.
The official opening of the wing coincided with the Thunder’s Round 5 clash with reigning premiers Subiaco.
Ballantyne was rewarded with the prestigious honour after winning the 2008 Sandover Medal, becoming only the second Peel player to do so.
The young goal-sneak was the 100th recipient of the medal, earning him an engraved paver alongside some of the most recent winners on the Sandover Medal Walk.
