Melbourne president Jim Stynes has completed his latest round of radiation treatment and is excited about attending the club’s best and fairest on Wednesday night.
After enduring a two-week period of treatment in his fight against cancer, which he was diagnosed with in June of this year, the former ruckman has been given a month off radiation therapy and will spend the first week spending time with his much-loved club.
The 43-year-old stated on his Twitter page on Monday that he felt “pumped after his last treatment for 4 weeks.”
Stynes himself won the Keith Bluey Truscott Memorial Trophy four times in 1991, 1995, 1996 and 1997.
