Melbourne’s first win of the season comes at a cost as experienced forward Brad Green expects to miss up to 6 weeks with a broken jaw.
Sitting at the bottom of the ladder before yesterday’s match, Melbourne upstaged the Richmond Tigers to take home their first win of the season by 8 points at the MCG, 14.16 (100) to 13.14 (92).

After a clash with Richmond youngster Alex Rance, Green left the oval in the first quarter with a broken jaw. He had surgery last night and expects to miss the next 4-6 weeks.

Green will be missed when the Demons fly to South Australia to take on the Crows this Sunday.
