High-flying Robbo dropped

Melbourne forward Russell Robertson has been dropped for Saturday night’s clash with the Saints at Gold Coast Stadium.
Many believe his surprise omission was due to a blunder he made, where he took a screamer in the goal square, and then tried to kick the goal lying on his back, but was smothered by a Hawks defender.
However coach Dean Bailey insisted Robertson’s omission was not due to the blunder, and said he just needed to refine some other skills in the VFL.
The top versus bottom fixture promises to be a one-sided affair, however the last time bottom beat top was back in 2004 when the Bulldogs toppled St.Kilda.
