Connolly to Coach Melbourne - Prediction 1

While John Worsfold may be talking up his contract negotiations we thought we would make an early predcition regarding the coaching stakes and predict that Chris Connolly would have a coaching job for 2010.

With Dean Bailey’s contract up at the end of the year and Cameron Schwab back with good mate Chris Connolly, Melbourne and Dean Bailey cannot afford a season like the last couple hence our prediction Cameron will have his mate back coaching before long - Well its only a precition but funnier things have happened. 

With a winning track record at Fremantle of 51.9% Connolly could be a good fit for Melbourne given the personnel around him. 

Mark Williams time at Port Adelaide is also up this year and negotiations dont seem too far down the track although it was publicly stated that his contract negotiations would commence at the end of last year but nothing seems to have developed.  It will be interesting if the Power boys can get some early wins on the board for their coach to obtain a contract extension.
