Fremantle have been thrashed by 97 points by North Melbourne in their NAB Challenge match at Manuka Oval on Saturday.

The Kangaroos would be very happy with the result, after they dismal performance against Carlton last weekend. Stand in coach Darren Crocker, said the 23.11 (149) to 8.4 (52) victory was a good reward for how hard the boys worked over the last week out on the training track.

The young Dockers side fought hard but were clearly outplayed in all forms of the game by a determined team that were eager to play an improved brand of footy from the week before.

The Roos booted seven goals in the second term and were led by Drew Petrie who finished with a bag of five and was well supported by Lindsay Thomas (four goals). Daniel Wells was also very impressive with his speed and agility through out the game.

For the Dockers, coach Mark Harvey conceded that the young Dockers side were torn apart by a hungrier and stronger opponent on the day.

He also paid respect to the Roos, saying that they obviously worked very hard to improve their game since last weekend.
