North Melbourne’s captain, Brent Harvey is expected to miss up to 12 weeks after dislocating his elbow in Saturday night’s loss to the Tigers.
Harvey will have surgery this week to repair torn ligaments on both sides of the joint and is hopeful he might return earlier.
With some more bad news for North Melbourne fans, defender Lachie Hansen is set to miss at least three weeks with a hamstring strain also occurring in Saturday’s loss at Etihad Stadium.
