After damaging the posterior cruciate ligament in his left knee only three weeks ago-an injury that should keep him out for six to eight games, Kangaroo tough man Glenn Archer is determined to make a comeback and play against the Lions next week.

As reported in The Age, the 31 year old said he wants to convince the club's doctors before round seven when they take on Brisbane at Telstra Dome.

Archer has had a injury riddled year suffering a wrist injury in pre-season competition and again had leg problems.

The gutsy defender has already made a big step to making his desired comeback by removing his leg brace to train with the club.
