North Melbourne has named current Magpie assistant coach Brad Scott as its new senior coach for the next three seasons. The two-times Brisbane Lions premiership player, played 168 games with the Hawks and Lions before retiring in 2006. After 15 years with North Melbourne, Adam Simpson has decided to retire after this Friday nights game against Carlton. It will be his 306th game in a decorated career and he finishes equal second on the kangaroos games record list.
