Richmond coach Terry Wallace says that the Hawks relied too much on Lance Franklin at the MCG yesterday.
The star Hawk kicked 3.6 with statistics showing his team went to him 19 times whilst only opting for Jarryd Roughead once.
Roughhead has 59 goals for the season and is a capable forward option for the Hawks but it seems everyone was keen to see Buddy get closer to the 100 goal mark but at the expense of the team.
Franklin was triple teamed by the Richmond defenders who dealed with Hawthorn’s attacking manouvers relatively easily.
