Hawthorn premiership defender Rick Ladson looks set to return from injury to play his 100th game on Saturday night against West Coast.
Ladson has been stranded on 99 games since last year’s Grand Final, and has only now been able to step up and sustain his workload.
The 25-year-old would be a welcome return for the injury depleted Hawks, who are struggling to re-capture their 2008 premiership form.
The Hawks’ struggling backline may be further bolstered by the impending return of Stephen Gilham, who joined the Hawks’ two-hour workout at Waverley Park on Tuesday.
