Whilst Richmond coach Danny Frawley admits he won't get any sleep tonight after their one point win over the Hawks, Hawthorn coach Peter Schwab has said that he and his players are disappointed in causing so much hurt to the members.

As reported in the Herald Sun, Schwab may have been trying to stop an up rise in supporter backlash.

"I guess where we are at as a footy club is just to say to our members we are extremely disappointed with the start of the year," Schwab said.

"Obviously there is a lot of emotional hurt, and let's not kid ourselves, a lot of financial hurt that comes with that.

"Everyone at the footy club is feeling pretty miserable and needs to show, like always under adversity, some really strong resolve about ourselves and continue to fight to get ourselves far more competitive than we have been in the first six rounds of the season."
