Hawks star goal-kicker Lance Franklin leads the nominations for the 2008 Deadly awards.
The award is directed at Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders for excellence in sport, art and education.
Franklin has kicked 91 goals for the season and is the clear coleman medal favorite, he is also joined by fellow footballers Shaun Burgoyne, Adam Goodes and David Wirrapanda as nominees for the most outstanding achievement in the AFL award.
