Hawks’ ruckman Simon Taylor has escaped suspension, by winning his challenge against a rough conduct charge at the AFL tribunal. Hawthorn have dismissed suggestions their reigning Coleman Medallist Lance Franklin is overweight. The Hawks said they were more than comfortable with Franklin's fitness, but conceded he is now a bit heavier than last year.
