Geelong’s big man Cameron Mooney has been offered a one-match ban for striking Kangaroos Scott Thompson on Saturday.
He looks set to miss this Friday night’s clash with the Western Bulldogs after the panel deemed the contact to be a level two striking offence. With Mooney’s recent poor record at the tribunal, an early plea can not escape the one game ban.
An early plea will only reduce the penalty by 25 per cent, to 131.25 points and a one match ban.
