Geelong entered the half-time break with a 10-point lead against Port Adelaide at Skilled Stadium on Sunday.

But, from there, the Cats produced a clinic, kicking 11.7 in the third term on their way to a crushing 23.21 (159) to 10.4 (64) win.

The premiership quarter assault was Geelong’s equal best third term in its history.

Geelong had 29 scoring shots (15.14) to the Power’s four (3.1) in the second-half to leave coach Mark Thompson beaming.
