Geelong’s vice-captain Cameron Ling has been offered a reprimand for his level two striking offence on Fremantle’s Nic Suban.

His five year good record saved him from suspension but means he will carry over 70.31 points for his future record, if he accepts the reprimand.

The incident occurred in the third quarter of the Cat’s hard fought win against the Dockers, when the match was in the balance. Geelong won the match at Subiaco Oval yesterday afternoon by 19 points
