GEELONG’S injury crisis has continued, with ruckman Brad Ottens ruled out for two months with a foot complaint.
Ottens missed the majority of the home-and-away season last year, after injuring his knee against Richmond in Round 2.
But he returned in time for the finals and played in the Cats premiership-winning side.
The Cats are currently missing Joel Corey and Max Rooke, while Gary Ablett was also absent last weekend.
Full-back Matthew Scarlett has not played since Round 2 but he is expected to return, along with Ablett, for this weekend’s clash with ladder-leader Sydney.
