Brownlow medal favourite Gary Ablett is expected to miss the next 2-3 weeks after scans revealed he has a strained left adductor.
The star midfielder who has been in spectacular form in recent weeks, went off the ground with groin soreness during Geelong’s win over the Demons yesterday afternoon at the MCG.
The cats won the match by 43 points and remain unbeaten on top off the ladder with St Kilda.
