Fremantle has stressed they won’t be trading Chris Tarrant back to his home state of Victoria.
The former Magpie forward is set to complete his final year of his contract with the Dockers, according to what football operations manager Chris Bond said on Monday morning.
Bond added that coach Mark Harvey and CEO Steve Rosich, both want to keep him at the club.
Rumors that have being circulating about the Blues and Hawks pursuing Tarrant after he produced an excellent first season as a key defender, will now be put to bed.
In other trade news, Bond stated that Marcus Drum and Brett Peake were still leaving the club. Peake is set to end up with the Saints, while the Hawks and Cats are vying for the services of Drum.
