Pavlich battles rare injury

Dockers’ skipper Matthew Pavlich is set to be out of action for atleast the next 2-3 weeks after scans confirmed he had strained a calf muscle.
Pavlich is certain to miss the clash with the Blues at Subiaco on Sunday and the game against the Crows the following week, but the Dockers are hoping he’ll be fine for the Lions’ game in round 16.
The 27-year-old strained his calf muscle during the second term of the Dockers’ 84-point thumping by the Magpies on Saturday.
Pavlich has rarely suffered from injury during his 207-game career, at one stage playing 160 consecutive games until he was forced to miss the last three games at the end of the 2008 season.
He has played all thirteen games this season.
