Former Fremantle Docker Heath Black has been charged with drink-driving after he was allegedly found asleep behind the wheel of his car.

The incident is the latest in a raft of off-field indiscretions involving the former Fremantle midfielder and comes after he was last month charged with disorderly conduct after fighting in a pub in Perth.

Police allege 30-year-old Black was sleeping in his car on Sommerville Boulevard about 1:30am.

It is also alleged Black’s car had been damaged after it earlier hit a kerb.

The disgraced former Docker has been charged with driving with a blood alcohol limit in excess of 0.08 and careless driving.

He is due to appear in the Fremantle Magistrates’ Court on November 18.

In August, Black received a $1,000 fine for participating in a fight outside a Northbridge nightclub in July.

His driver’s was licence disqualified for five months in 2008 for drink driving offences after registering a blood alcohol level of 0.129.

In 2006, he received a hefty fine an assault at the Perth Cup race day.
