Former Geelong midfielder Brent Prismall will make his long-awaited debut for Essendon on Sunday after nine months on the sidelines.
Prismall, who has been sidelined with a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament was named in an expanded 26-man squad and should make the final 22.
If so, the ex-Cat will face Adelaide at Docklands in his first match since September, 2008.
Essendon coach Matthew Knights said his new recruit is anxious to play, and is ready to make his AFL return as a Bomber.
