Essendon are sweating on the availability of several top players ahead of their first AFL game of the 2009 season against Port Adelaide on March 29.
Kyle Reimers, Andrew Welsh and Brent Prismall are all certain to miss the round one game, while Scott Gumbleton, Mark McVeigh, David Myers and Henry Slattery all have niggling injuries but will be in the team if they overcome them.
2008 was a year to forget for the Bombers in regards to Injury problems and unfortunetly so far, things don’t look like improving on that front.
