ESSENDON could welcome back Tayte Pears and Kyle Reimers for this week’s Dreamtime clash against Richmond, with both recovering from their injuries quicker than expected.
Pears (arm) and Reimers (thumb) were both expected to return in a few weeks, as reported by afl.com.au. But they will train this week in a bid to be selected for the Round 9 match.
“It is a speedy recovery,†Essendon coach Matthew Knights said.
“If we get medical clearance then we’ll sit down at match committee and have a look at the make-up of the team.â€
