Over a million dollars worth of rebates has been given directly back to season members who singed up with the Origin Energy Inside50 program that closed up last Friday.

A staggering 20,400 households signed up to the program. 5,300 new members took advantage of the program that generated almost $800,000 that goes directly to the clubs.

Not only do members receive a $50 rebate they also receive a $50 membership voucher for the 2005 season.

AFL Chief Executive Officer, Andrew Demetriou said "The AFL is delighted by the response to the Origin Energy Inside50 offer. Making Memberships more affordable is a major benefit not only for fans, but also greatly assists Clubs".

"With total Club Membership figures up 8% on the same time last year and with another six weeks until June 15, which is the last date to purchase memberships tickets that are eligible for access to finals tickets, we expect to continue to see many more memberships taken up by new and existing members".
