The Bombers are looking for a more experienced player to join their side at next week’s AFL pre-season draft.
Essendon are faced with the problem of not having enough players in their mid 20’s to balance out the big group of youngsters and over 30’s in the squad.
The Bombers picks in last months national draft were all teenagers and they are certain to add more to the group as they have four rookie draft selections on December 16.
They will also have one pre-season draft pick where they will be hoping for a player in his mid 20’s.
Bombers’ coach Matthew Knights said they have lost a lot of experience in the last few seasons and are hoping to find a fairly mature player, but only if he is the right guy.
