Essendon midfielder Mark McVeigh is poised to return to the Bombers sooner rather than later, according to coach Matthew Knights. Essendon’s worst fears were confirmed yesterday when scans showed that ruckman David Hille had ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament and will need a knee reconstruction.
