First preseason match: versus West Perth, Saturday March 1, Medibank Stadium 7.45pm
First home and away match: versus West Perth, Saturday March 29, Arena Joondalup 2.15pm (Round 2)
East Perth surprised the experts in 2007 by finishing in the top four after a consistent home and away season, only to be well beaten by South Fremantle in the First-Semi Final.
Jeremy Humm and Joel Reynolds and will add experience to the side in 2008 and a good showing in the preseason series is important, given their first match is against arch rival West Perth.
Rebounding defender and vice-captain Frank Agostino will be tough to cover after the classy premiership player injured a knee late last year, while a ruckman will need to step up after the departure of Llane Spaanderman and Zac Beeck.
