East Perth Colts player, James Kendall has become the second player to win the Ben Mitchell Medal as a part of the 2004 AIS/AFL Academy.
Kendall played in the AIS/AFL Academy Back Pocket/Half Back Flank rotation during the first two test matches contested against Ireland recently.

East Perth have defeated arch rivals West Perth by one point tonight in a highly controversial finish at Leederville Oval.
Leading by the one point in the dying seconds, East Perth's Jeremey Barnard was tackled deep inside his defensive fifty as he attempted to run the ball out.
