Collingwood Football Club has had some good news today, when it was revealed one of their leadership players Scott Pendlebury may only miss one week of football.

Pendlebury suffered a strained medial ligament in his left knee, which forced him off the field in the opening minutes of his sides 23 point win against Sydney last Saturday night, at ANZ Stadium.

The star midfielder, who has been in career best form this year, is expected to be sidelined for 2-3 weeks with the injury, but a best case scenario will be just the one week. This news is much better than what they first predicted when he clutched his knee during the match.
