The Magpies have signed American Seamus McNamara for a two-year international rookie contract.
The 204 centimetre, 104 kilogram big-man had a trial run with the Magpies back in September and after accepting the club’s contract offer, has returned to continue pre-season training with the team.
The 24-year-old spent four years playing division one collegiate basketball for Marist University in New York, before playing one year of professional basketball in Germany for TSV Dachau Spurs.
