Disgraced Magpie star Alan Didak has approached club president Eddie McGuire and coach Mick Malthouse, about playing for the club in the 2009 season.

Word on the street is that Didak organised seperate meetings with both Malthouse and McGuire and apologised to them about lying to the club over the car accident scenario with Heath Shaw and told them both he wanted to be a part of the club’s future.

Didak and Shaw were involved in a car crash following a drinking session at a Hawthorn hotel with Rhyce Shaw.

They were both suspended for the rest of the season, but only Didak faces the possiblity of been traded, with the club certain to keep Shaw on their list.
