Collingwood president Eddie McGuire says that Club champion Nathan Buckley will have other competition for the coaching position should Mick Malthouse either retire or Collingwood decide to let him go in the near future.

McGuire mentioned assistant coaches Brad Scott, Blake Caracella, Gavin Brown and Mark Neeld as possible replacements for veteran Mick Malthouse.

McGuire added that Mick Malthouse has done an incredible job so far in helping to rebuild the club.
