Where your team is at

Seven rounds into the new WAFL season and the ladder has a somewhat unfamiliar look about it.
As expected Subiaco is setting the pace but positions two through to eight on the table have been changing regularly over the opening weeks of the year.
Here is a run down of how your team is travelling about a third of the way through the 2008 season.
CLAREMONT: 6th, 2 wins - 4 losses
The Tigers have struggled early in the year but could well be inside the four had they had a slice of luck in close losses to South Fremantle and Peel. Fresh from the bye, they face a resurgent Perth this round in a must-win match.
EAST FREMANTLE: 9th, 0-6
A nightmare start for the Sharks who are constantly re-shuffling their team due to form and AFL selection. Currently two wins adrift of the rest of the league, they are unlikely to trouble the high-flying Swan Districts this weekend.
EAST PERTH: 8th, 2-4
A mixed start for the Royals with impressive wins over strugglers, East Fremantle and West Perth, but poor showings against South Fremantle, Claremont and Perth. This week it is the seemingly impossible task of tackling the daunting Lions.
PEEL: 5th, 3-3
The Thunder would be pleased with their 50% record to this stage of the season, with a two point win over Claremont the highlight so far. This week it is a new challenge; entering a match as clear favourites, when they host West Perth.
PERTH: 4th, 3-3
Another of the big improvers this season, the Demons win over South Fremantle over the weekend was their most impressive for a number of seasons and lifted them into the top four. Their supporters will watch eagerly this week to see if they can find some consistency and back it up with a win over Claremont, a team they troubled last season.
SOUTH FREMANTLE: 3rd, 4-3
We’ve seen the best and the worst of the Bulldogs already this season and it appears that their depth is being tested. This week’s bye has come at the perfect time with injuries and AFL unavailabilities weakening their line-up.
SUBIACO: 1st, 7-0
A perfect start from a near perfect team. They have disposed of every challenger with a minimum of fuss and should do the same with East Perth this week. Can they go through the season undefeated? It is looking more likely every week.
SWAN DISTRICTS: 2nd, 5-1
Swans have backed up their promising pre-season form with an impressive first six rounds, and have won their last two despite playing below their best, which is a good sign. A home game against bottom team, East Fremantle, this weekend should pose no problem.
WEST PERTH: 7th, 2-4
The upset win over South Fremantle was a rare highlight in what has been a disappointing start for the Falcons. However, they would give themselves a good chance of knocking off the Thunder this week which would put them right back in the race for the top four.
