WA U/18s Team Announced - Ready for first game this Sunday

WA will begin its defence of the NAB Under 18s Championships this Sunday against NSW/ACT at Subiaco Oval this Sunday as a curtain raiser for Fremantle’s clash with Port Adelaide.
The Sandgropers, to be coached by Andrew Lockyer, are expected to be hard to beat in this year’s compeition with the likes of Nicholas Naitanui, Daniel Rich and Chris Yarran leading the way.
Rich has been named as skipper while Naitanui with share the vice-captain’s duties with Claremont’s Matt DeBoer.
As part of a new-look Under 18s carnival, WA will play five matches over the course of six and a half weeks.
Their campaign begins with a game against NSW/ACT at home this Sunday before playing South Australia (AAMI), Victoria Country (Subiaco Oval), Tasmania (Casey Fields) and Victoria Metro (Telstra Dome).
