Former Claremont player to make AFL debut for Kangaroos

Former Claremont player Chad Jones will make his AFL debut this weekend for the Kangaroos against the Western Bulldogs at Manaka Oval in Canberra.

The 19-year-old Jones was snapped up by the Roos with their second selection (24th overall) in the 2003 National Draft.

The tall, agile former Tiger made an immediate impact for the Kangaroos in the pre-season, coming to the attention of coach Dean Laidley.
