There is a new twist in the Robert Warnock saga, with the budding young ruckman out of action for up to two months with a stress fracture in his foot.
Warnock was the centre of a tug of war between Fremantle and several Victorian clubs at the end of last season, when the out of contract ruckman declared his intention to return home, resulting in protracted trade week bartering between Fremantle and Carlton.
Carlton surrendered picks 24, 56, and 72 in the National Draft for Warnock and pick 69.
