Carlton will be bolstered by the return of star midfielder Nick Stevens, who is set to return from suspension for tomorrow night’s clash against Essendon at the MCG.
Shaun Grigg, who missed the first two games with a hamstring injury, should play his first game for the Blues. Defender Michael Jamison is out with a shoulder injury, while Heath Scotland has been omitted.
The Bombers will go into Saturday night’s clash without Adam McPhee, who is serving a one-match suspension for striking Fremantle’s Scott Thornton. Goal-sneak Leroy Jetta comes in for his first game of the season.
