CARLTON ruckman Matthew Kreuzer, who suffered a season-ending knee injury against Fremantle on Saturday night, will undergo a traditional knee reconstruction.
There were initial thoughts the Blues may look to explore the LARS procedure, which has been used successfully in the previous cases of Sydney’s Nick Malceski and Port Adelaide’s David Rodan.
But it is thought Kreuzer will benefit more from a full reconstruction, given his age and height.
