Leading Carlton goal-kicker Brendan Fevola has declared he’s a certain starter for Sunday’s must win clash against Fremantle after undergoing surgery on a broken finger.
On Saturday morning, Fevola had an operation to repair bone and tendon damage in his little finger, but believes he will recover in time for the Dockers game in eight days.
Fevola said he played on with the injury during his side’s humiliating 69-point defeat against Essendon, but conceded that every time the ball hit his hand it hurt him.
