Carlton star Brendan Fevola has moved to dismiss rumours he has a gambling problem, after putting to bed the issue on The Footy Show last night.
It was believed Fevola owed $400,000 to debt collectors and that late Carlton president Dick Pratt had to clear the debt - a rumour Fevola categorically denied.
He also denied a rumour he owed people money and was throwing games to pay them off.
“That’s ridiculous in itself. I’d heard that one, that I was (deliberately) missing goals to pay off a $1 million debt,” Fevola said.
