Carlton bad boy Setanta O’hAilpin is back training with the Carlton team, just eleven days after violently assualting teammate Cameron Cloke in an intra-club practice match.
O’hAilpin had been suspended from affiliating with the Carlton team and was training with the VFL side the Northern Bullants. He was also seeing sports psychologist Michael Martin which helped him earn back the respect of his team-mates.
Carlton CEO Greg Swann said that both Martin and the playing group had agreed that O’hAilpin was ready to come back to the group.
The Irish man spoke to his teammates before his first training session back and will continue to receive counselling.
