WHILE the Sydney Swans are making a desperate play to secure Daniel Bradshaw, Carlton could soon follow after club officials said they hadn’t ruled out dumped Melbourne forward Russell Robertson from their list.

The Blues will hold a list-management meeting tomorrow, with 30-year-old Robertson on the agenda, as Carlton looks to plug a huge hole in its forward line for 2010.

Carlton football manager Steven Icke said:

“You never say never in football.

“It really comes down to where we’re going and what our structure will look like.

“We will look at the personnel we need to fit that structure. We’ll talk about all that sort of stuff now that we know what Daniel is doing,” he said.

Robertson has undergone a rigorous training program in an attempt to resurrect his career before the December pre-season draft.

MEANWHILE , Jarrad Waite, Matthew Kreuzer, Cameron Cloke and Brisbane Lions recruit Lachie Henderson pose as key players in a new look Blues attack.

“In terms of our forward line, we’ve got plenty of options,” Icke said.

“And of course we’ve got some really good smalls with Chris Yarran, Eddie Betts, Jeff Garlett and Andrew Walker.

“There’s a lot of flexibility there, which is exciting.”

Waite, who suffered a serious knee injury is now completing a two-week training camp with a leading knee rehabilitation expert.

The Blues are confident of having a healthy list for 2010, with Robbie Warnock (ankle) and Michael Jamison (groin) recovering well from minor post-season operations and set to start pre-season next week.
