Carlton are in the second round of the NAB with an easy 53-point win over North Melbourne at Telstra Dome on Friday night.

Star forward Brenden Fevola booted six goals, while captain Chriss Judd looks to be back to his best, showing off his electrifying speed finishing with 19 touches. Bryce Gibbs was just as impressive and was the games highest ball winner with 27, as the Blues ran away to a 1.17.12 (123) to 0.11.4 (70) victory.

Fevola started where he left off last season, causing major problems for Roos defender Josh Gibson who only managed to touch the ball five times for the whole game.

Fevola’s match haul of six goals included a massive nine-point super goal.

The Kangaroos managed to find some positives with Daniel Wells putting in a hard working effort, and debutant Jack Ziebell looked comfortable on the way to kicking two majors.

The Blues now play the winner from Saturdays encounter between the Hawks and Melbourne, while the Roos will face the Dockers.
