Carlton were dealt another blow on Friday night, after it was revealed talented on-baller Andrew Carrazzo looks set to miss at least six weeks due to a broken forearm.

If his recovery goes to plan, Carrazzo will be ready to play a week before the highly anticipated Round 1 clash against Richmond, but if he hits any hurdles he’ll miss the blockbuster game.

Carlton’s 2007 best and fairest injured his left arm in the Blues’ intraclub clash at Visy Park.

Coach Brett Ratten predicted he had only damaged the muscle, but the club was told of his fracture late on Friday night.

The Blues seemed confident however that Carrazzo would be ready for action in two weeks.
