Western Bulldogs’ champion Scott West’s career is almost certainly over after he was informed the club wouldn’t be offering him another contract.

West played just four games this season because of a serious knee injury.

He finishes as a 7 time best and fairest of the club and a two time runner up in the Brownlow medal.

It was also announced today that Collingwood had delisted Brodie Holland, Sam Illes and Chris Egan after Scott Burns’ retirement earlier in the week.

At Brisbane Nigel Lappin has confirmed he will not be coming out of retirement at Michael Voss’s request.
